The High Commission of the United Republic of
Tanzania in London is accredited to the United Kingdom, the
Republic of Ireland and the Commonwealth. Functions of the
High Commission include promotion of Tanzania’s economy through
economic diplomacy, political communications and consular
matters. The Mission is implementing Foreign Policy of the
United Republic of Tanzania under co-ordination of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
The activities of the High
Commission are:
1. Co-ordination of promotion of Tanzania Investment, Trade
and Tourism in the area of accreditation
2. Co-ordination of promotion of diplomatic relations
between Tanzania and the countries in the area of accreditation
3.
Issuing of visas and advice to all visitors to Tanzania
4. Renewing of
passports and issuing of Emergency Travel Documents to Tanzanian nationals in the area of accreditation
5. Facilitating cultural exchange between Tanzania countries in the area of accreditation
