The
Government of the United Republic of
Tanzania has always been willing to trade
with the outside world. The willingness has
led to establishment of trade centres by the
Government to facilitate international
trade. The Tanzania Trade Centre in London
is an example.
The
Centre headed by a Director (Trade Attaché),
employee of the Ministry of Industries,
Trade and Marketing promotes Trade between
Tanzania and the United Kingdom under the
co-ordination of the Tanzania High
Commission in London. Promotion of Tourism
and Investment are also included in the
duties of the Centre.
The
Centre also works closely with the Tanzania
Tourists Board (TTB), Parastatal Sector
Reform Commission (PSRC) and the Tanzania
Investment Centre (TIC).
